And breathe … though not for long. The tax-year end is always a busy time for tax-efficient fund managers and financial advisers but this year was more complicated than usual - and I am not talking about Brexit. No - this was the first tax year since the implementation of the much-documented ‘risk to capital' rule changes to Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) and venture capital trust (VCT) investments, which kicked in at the end of the 2017/18 tax year.
