When you reach a certain age, you may begin to look back rather than forward. There is no pre-determined age when this unpleasant event occurs, but it is often at the point of retirement. Retirement can affect people in many ways. It can be looked upon as a welcome event, a freedom from the daily grind of work, or it can create a feeling of being unwanted. We all complain about the daily ritual of the alarm clock when we would rather stay in bed. There are so many things that we cannot do because we simply do not have the time.
