For many people, with retirement still years away, saving towards a pension often takes a back seat with more immediate financial commitments taking precedence. Indeed, paying off debt, buying property or channelling savings towards things like education bring attractive and tangible security and rewards for today, leaving pensions as something we would rather tackle tomorrow. Or the next day. Or the next. Pensions can be complex. For some, they seem inaccessible and difficult to understand. However, a little knowledge can make a big difference – if people take the time to seek it out...
