With the aim to mandate a sharper focus on customer outcomes and value for money, Consumer Duty officially came into force one year ago today (31 July). With this also came a deadline for firms of all sizes to complete their annual report. One of our PA Asks surveys recently asked the industry how it feels about the regulation. One pundit says Consumer Duty is a "good initiative to demonstrate what clients actually receive for the fees and if that service is been provided there should no issues/concerns".
