Charcol, the independent mortgage and financial adviser, is offering borrowers interested in taking a loan from ethically invested money a fixed-rate loan of 4.85% until May 31st 2004, with no early redemption penalties. Available only through Charcol, the ethical mortgage, from an unnamed borrower, is MIG-free and offers 95% loan to value (LTV) up to £100k down to 70% LTV on £1m loans or more, and reverts to the lender's standard variable rate (currently 6.05%) from June 1, 2004.
