ScotEq to launch group sipp

Scottish Equitable is extending its product range with the launch of a Group Self-Invested Personal Pension (Sipp).

Released on Monday, the Group Sipp will benefit from the same fund range and support tools as the company’s Individual Sipp offering, including access to almost 1,000 funds from over 40 fund managers and online valuations. Scottish Equitable already has an interim Group Sipp, which launched on 1 May, but this was basically a defererd Sipp which allowed people to transfer out from an occupational scheme without needing a transfer buddy, while protecting a tax free cash entitlement of more than 25%.
