The Pension Protection Fund (PPF) rescued four more schemes in September, with over 3,000 more Britons receiving, or expecting to receive PPF compensation.
Automotive Products Pension Scheme 1995, with 1951 members, principally from Automotive Products Group, was transferred to the PPF. Members of two more schemes by the same name were also rescued, with 456 mainly from AP Hydraulics and 59 from APTEC technologies. The PPF also came to the aid of the Moorland Poultry Pension Scheme. To date, 61 schemes have now transferred to PPF, while 18,957 people are now receiving compensation or expecting it in the future.
