The Tax Incentivised Savings Association (TISA) has appointed John Lawson, head of pensions policy at Standard Life, as chair of its retirement advisory council.
The council provides independent opinions on personal and corporate pensions and other long-term savings issues. Martin Campbell, founder of communicationa company Beacon Strategic, has become deputy chair of the council, which also includes Ian Naismith, head of pensions market development at Scottish Widows, and Adrian Boulding, wealth policy director at Legal and General. The council launched last November and will hold a conference in the autumn.
