Members of the National Association of Pension Funds (NAPF) will now have access to a new mediation service to settle disputes.
Launched in conjunction with the Centre for Effective Dispute resolution (CEDR), NAPF says the Pensions Mediation Service is a viable means of resolving disagreements and complaints, and will be available to all member schemes at a discount. Under the new regulatory regime, NAPF says trustees could potentially find themselves at the centre of conflicts between the interests of sponsoring employers and scheme members.
