Axa launches Save More Tomorrow pension

Axa has launched its Save More Tomorrow pension plan, which automatically increases the level of contributions over the duration of the pension.

The plan aims to address the growing problem of a lack of retirement provision faced by UK workers, says Axa. It says since 2004, the number of employees investing in a workplace pension has fallen by one million, to 3.6 million. Currently 12m workers are not saving enough for their retirement. However, while studies found 68% of workers feel they should save more, only 14% increase the amount they contribute during the period of the plan. The Save More Tomorrow company pension scheme is available to all sized employers and works through members gradually building up the level of pens...
