L&G and Cofunds launch new business model

Advisers are being offered a whole new way to organise their business by Cofunds and Legal & General.

The two companies are planning to introduce a client focused business model for advisers at the same time as launching a new investment bond and plans for pension products after A-Day. Under the current business model, much of an adviser’s time is taken up by record-keeping and administering their client’s products, but Cofunds says with the new approach, the whole of a client’s assets, regardless of tax wrapper, can be seen on a single screen.
