Scottish Life is adding a self-invested personal pension product to its range of individual pensions as part of its rebranding exercise.
From 4 December existing individual pensions will be rebranded as “Pension Portfolio”, although it will have the same core investments through its “Managed Strategies” concept as it does currently. However the insurer also plans to add a Sipp product to its rebranded range, although it says as not all customers will want to use the self-investment facilities, members will only have to pay the extra charges for the Sipp if and when they use it.
