The chief executive of the National Association of Pension Funds is leaving to join Barclays Bank.
Christine Farnish, previously director of the Consumer Division at the Financial Services Authority (FSA), has been head of the NAPF since July 2002. After a four year stint as chief executive, Farnish will be leaving NAPF to join Barclays as public policy director, leading its international public policy capability across more than 40 countries. Farnish says: “I have been privileged to lead the NAPF at such a crucial time for pensions and I am proud of what we have achieved. I will be very sad to leave but pleased I will be leaving the legacy of a strong team and a healthy budget.” R...
