One in three workers feel pension education should be taught in schools, as over 90% believe pensions should be made easier to understand.
Research carried out by B&CE Benefit Schemes shows 26% of people support the idea of presentations on retirement being given by an employer while 23% would prefer information to be presented by a financial expert. The survey of 831 workers, carried out by TNS, also reveals there is strong support for personal one to one guidance, with 43% saying free advice from a financial expert would be helpful in making sense of pensions, while one in three believe pensions education should be taught in schools.
