The Government is employing ‘stalling' tactics over a legal challenge on its refusal to compensate pensioners.
A response to the judicial review, launched by the Pensions Action Group (PAG) on the 14 June, was required from the government within three weeks of the publication of the inquiry by the Public Administration Select Committee (PASC). However Dr Ros Altmann, an independent adviser working with the PAG, reveals the government has failed to fulfil its obligations and make its response within the specified timetable.
