The National Association of Pension Funds has announced Joanne Segars will take over from Christine Farnish as chief executive of the organisation.
Segars, who will take over the role in October, joined the Napf as director of policy in April 2005 from the Association of British Insurers, where she was head of pensions and saving. She also worked as a senior pensions officer at the Trade Unions Congress and Segars was a member of the Occupational Pensions Regulatory Authority board from 1996-2001 and is now also a governor of the Pensions Policy Institute.
