Large numbers of businesses are failing to tell their employees of the changes to their pension schemes following A-Day, claims Prudential.
With less than a month to go until the new tax regime comes into effect, more than one in five companies with at least 50 employees admit they have not communicated the implications of A-Day to their staff. After 6 April, there will be more flexibility for members including increased contribution limits, improved early leaver rates and generally higher maximum benefit levels. But according to research carried out by Kadence on behalf of Prudential, only 11% of businesses say they have developed and completed their communication programmes to employees.
