Ex-Skandia investment chief joins Sarasin

JIM Roberts, former group investment director of Skandia UK and chairman of Skandia Investment Management, has joined Sarasin & Partners as a non-executive director.

The appointment reflects Sarasin's attempts to make its mark in the mainstream UK wholesale market. In his new role, Roberts will assist Sarasin in this drive, as well as performing other duties within the recently rebranded specialist asset management boutique.
