Tenet launches foundation degree for new advisers

Tenet is launching an entry-route foundation degree, giving budding IFAs the opportunity to begin working as advisers whilst studying for the qualification.

The foundation degree, developed in conjunction with Leeds City College, lasts around 18 months and covers topics including fee charging, skills application and all necessary basic adviser skills. It enables firms to recruit candidates capable of giving basic advice under supervision after just 12 weeks of the course, following completion of the CII's new Regulation and Ethics exam R01.
