Standard Life named Platform of the Year

Standard Life took home the top gong of Platform of the Year at the Aberdeen UK Platform Awards.

The firm edged out Ascentric and Nucleus in the category to win the main award of the evening. The judging panel said: "The winner is not just a functional administration system but a full service platform with excellent technical and business support for IFAs. "The platform is a complete all rounder which continues to develop and receive consistently good feedback from IFA users." The other big winner of the night was Malcolm Murray, named Platform Personality of the Decade, while his Transact wrap also picked up awards in two other categories.
