Barclays bank manager jailed for 23k pension fraud

Barry Gillard, 31, was jailed yesterday for two-and-a-half years after pleading guilty to 12 charges of fraud for the copy-cat crime, reported the Daily Mirror. The court heard how he stole sums of between £340 and £5,000 during June 2010, from pensioner Frederick Castleton, who died two months ago.
