LV= has out-performed its peers by holding annual bonus rates and announcing an investment return of 5.7% on its with-profits fund.
The results follow Aviva, Prudential and Standard Life's decisions to cut their bonus rates this year in response to choppy investment markets. Only two LV= funds saw any change - the Flexible Whole Life Plan increased from 4.78% in 2010 to 5.54% in 2011 and the With Profits Pension Annuity fell from last year's figure of 2.5% to 1.6% this year.
