DWP to re-launch combined pension statements

The Department for Work and Pensions will re-launch combined pension statements on 5 November after being suspended for technical updates.

The DWP wrote to providers in October informing them of the re-launch as well as providing updated statement templates and opt-in and out information. The statements were suspended while the DWP updated its software after changes to the state pension age. A spokesperson for DWP said: “After writing to our customers informing of the re-launch the feedback has been positive.” Although admitting it would not be as simple as switching the system back on, DWP said the system updates would allow for an easy re-launch.
