Major household brands opt for NEST

Major household names like McDonalds, Travelodge, the BBC and BT will use the National Employment Savings Trust for auto-enrolment.

At an employer roadshow this morning, NEST revealed that around 20% of all firms with staging fates in the first year will use the scheme for auto-enrolment. In total over 100 employers have chosen NEST in the first year, with a further 170 businesses trialling the scheme. NEST assistant director, distribution, Roy Porter commented: "So who says NEST is just for small employers?" Porter said one employer planned to use the scheme for 5,000 people who sit outside its existing scheme.
