Tenet extends PII deal to external advisers

Adviser support group Tenet is extending its offer of permanent run-off cover to the wider market.

In September, the network became the first to offer its advisers the option of permanent professional indemnity insurance (PII) for historic claims after retiring - after a payment of two years' worth of premiums. It will now extend the offer to other advisers through its Guernsey-based Paragon Insurance subsidiary. "Based on the average cost of an annual renewal, it is available for the equivalent of just two years' premiums," said group distribution director Keith Richards.
