Partnership appoints Richard Willets as director of longevity

Partnership has hired Richard Willets as director of longevity.

Willets [pictured] was director of longevity at Friends Life since July 2011. Prior to that, he was longevity director at Paternoster and ran Willets Consulting. He also chaired the working party of the Actuarial Profession which produced the Continuous Mortality Investigation (CMI) projection model. This is now a widely-used benchmark in the life assurance and pensions industries. He will report to Partnership's chief financial officer, David Richardson, and work with the company's research and development team to further develop its pricing and risk management techniques.
