Origen offloads SSAS business to Barnett Waddingham Origen has sold its small self-administered scheme (SSAS) business to pension provider and consultant Barnett Waddingham. The news follows the sale of Origen's self-invested personal pension (SIPP) business to Suffolk Life. Origen, which was one of the first firms in the UK to launch a specialist self-administered pensions service, said a strategic review had found it no longer had the scale to operate in the market.
