The vast majority of employers approaching auto-enrolment will seek professional financial advice, according to the National Employment Savings Trust (NEST).
More than 90% of 1,000 respondents to a NEST survey said they would be seeking advice on the choice of pension provider, while 74% indicated they had sought, or would be seeking, support in complying with the auto-enrolment regulations. The initiative, launched a year ago, is widely considered to be a large business opportunity for advisory firms.
