Advisers are low down the list when it comes to finding information for the planning of people's care funding, according to a study by provider Partnership.
The research found a mere 9% of consumers would seek help from financial advisers when it comes to care, while 50% would go to charity Age UK, followed by local authorities (26%), Citizens Advice (24%) and family and friends (18%). At the same time a growing number of over-45s believed it would be helpful for local councils to refer people to advisers, according to Partnership's 5th Care Index.
