AJ Bell has called on the regulator to streamline the suitability rules on re-platforming clients in bulk, describing current individual advice requirements as "overly arduous".
Arguing simplifying the rules would save advisers time and money at no cost to the client, AJ Bell chief executive Andy Bell explained: "As it currently stands, if advisers want to move clients from one platform to another they have to go through an individual factfind and suitability process for each one.
