Platform tech provider GBST's assets break £100bn barrier

Technology provider to a number of adviser platforms GBST has seen its UK assets on its wealth administration software, Composer, pass the £120bn mark.

GBST provides technology to Alliance Trust Savings (ATS), AJ Bell and Novia, as well as to Aegon and its new platform (formerly Cofunds). The latter has struggled with a number of issues since it shifted more than £35bn onto GBST technology from IFDS and proprietary software in May, while ATS has also come across difficulties and delays in its ongoing project to be powered by Composer technology.
