Investec Asset Management has hired Alasdair Prescott in the newly-created role of head of UK adviser and strategic partners, as the firm builds on its growing client base.

The role will bring together the regional sales and strategic partnership teams and Prescott will be responsible for leading the firm's strategic partnership and sub-advisory relationships.  Prescott joins from Aviva Investors where he was head of London wholesale sales. He joined Aviva in April 2017 having previously worked as a senior member of the UK wealth manager sales team at J.P.
