AJ Bell wins the lang cat's advised platform of the year accolade

The lang cat has revealed the winners of its 2018 adviser platform awards, with AJ Bell Investcentre scooping the top adviser platform gong.

The consultancy gave out five awards: best advised platform for retirement income, best advised platform for accumulation (simple needs), best advised platform for accumulation (complex needs), disrupter of the year and best overall advised platform of the year. "The huge number of advised platforms out there and the small number of awards up for grabs means the winners really had to stand out to impress us enough to part with one of our trophies," said the lang cat principal Mark Polson.
