Senior pair exit Woodford IM - reports

Woodford Investment Management has seen two senior departures in recent weeks including Saku Saha, fund manager, and William Deer, head of institutional sales, according to reports.

Last week, a number of staff at Woodford Investment Management were informed they could be made redundant as the embattled firm enters its second month trying to save its £3.5bn flagship fund. The Financial Times reported Saha, considered to be Neil Woodford's 'right-hand man' has left the firm after working with the manager for over a decade. Following a career in the military, Saha joiined Invesco in 2009 as trainee fund manager and followed Woodford when he left to launch his own asset management firm in 2014.
