There will be a very strong recovery over the next 12 months as the markets move on from “Covid shock” with quality businesses presenting the strongest investment opportunities, according to Carmignac.

Speaking at PA360 Digital earlier this month, fund manager Obe Ejikeme said asset managers were faced with a "complex combination of time horizons" but it was possible to successfully invest for both the medium and long-term. He said: "The business cycle is incredibly important.
