Business owners looking to carve out a brand in the financial advice space need to put their head above the parapet and do something “radically different”, delegates at PA360 heard.
The Path Financial chief executive and founder David MacDonald explained while it will not always be a comfortable experience "some degree of definition" is essential to succeed. He told delegates: "If you try to appeal to everyone you end up appealing to no one. Some degree of definition is needed. "It is better to be radically different. We are not always comfortable being that but if you want to get noticed in a crowd you have to do something different."
