Essex-headquartered financial advice firm Path Financial, set up in response to the climate crisis in 2019, has predicted greenwashing would be one of the big themes for 2022 and has told people to watch out.
The Path Financial founder David Macdonald said consumers need to be looking out for greenwashing. "Avoiding the greenwash and spin will be hard in 2022, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't make it a New Year's resolution to try. It's important to get under the bonnet and really ask some of the hard questions to make sure a provider is as green as they appear to be."
