Ex-Coutts CEO Sarah Deaves joins abrdn

Wealth management industry veteran Sarah Deaves has left Schroders Personal Wealth to head the financial planning business at abrdn.

Deaves, former CEO of Coutts & Co, will be responsible for leading the financial planning business and will report directly to Caroline Connellan, chief executive of Personal Wealth at abrdn.  The firm said Deaves will work closely with Paul Titterton, who recently joined as head of digital solutions to explore "how digital can enhance our financial planning offering". Prior to joining abrdn, Deaves was managing director, client relationships and wealth advice at Schroders Personal Wealth.
