Demand for retirement advice continued to grow in 2021 - Next Wealth

There has been a continued increase in demand for retirement advice during 2021, with 47% of advisers seeing an uptick of demand as compared to 40% in 2020, according to Next Wealth’s latest retirement advice report.

The research - Managing Lifetime Wealth: retirement planning in the UK - found that changing attitudes to work and health are driving this demand as clients reassess priorities with more than half of the advisers (51%) reporting an increase in the number of clients looking to retire early, and 61% of advisers reporting that their clients' have a newfound focus on health and longevity when compared to the pandemic.
