PE-backed boutique and wealth management firm MKC Wealth has acquired Genius Wealth Management for an undisclosed sum, the firm has revealed.
MKC Wealth was set up in 2003 and is backed by backed Cabot Square Capital, a company providing investment capital for small and mid-sized companies in the UK and Western Europe. Northwich-based Genius WM has £150 million of assets under management (AUM) and advises 300 private clients. Managing director Iain Crawford joins MKC Wealth in an ambassadorial role as he moves into retirement, according to MKC. Toni Haynes, chief operating officer at Genius WM, will become senior compliance and operations manager at MKC along with two chartered advisers and six support staff, the firm said....
