More than half of advisers (53%) have seen their clients change investment plans due to the cost of living crisis, according to the 2022 Schroders UK financial adviser survey.
The fund management house said the most recent findings followed its 2022 pulse survey which found that 69% of advisers had anticipated "significant portfolio changes". The survey questioned 439 advisers from 350 firms. It also found 63% of advisers ranked capital loss as the greatest client concern. This was followed by inflation and generating sufficient income and rising interest rates as the biggest concerns.
