The availability of ESG and ESG suitability have both dropped as being key features of a good provider of a model portfolio service (MPS), according to RSMR’s annual adviser survey.
The survey conducted for RSMR by Research in Finance included 126 discretionary fund managers and 169 investment advisers. When you compare the most recent data from the survey to 2021, both ESG availability and suitability have dropped by 13 percentage points and three percentage points respectively. Meanwhile, the data also showed that the adviser back-office system is one of the least selected with 16% saying it is a key feature.
