Consumer activity and engagement with pensions are on the rise despite the advice gap, according to a new report from Boring Money.

Its 2024 Pensions Report found that more UK adults are taking steps to understand and manage their pension savings, with 75% of non-retired British adults now having at least one pension. However, only 13% of these individuals have received financial advice regarding their pensions in the last 12 months. Nearly one in five of all non-retired UK adults aged 55 and above are considering taking financial advice over the next 12 months (17%).
