As pressure continues to build on the asset management and wealth sectors to prove their value for clients, 7IM co-founder Justin Urquhart Stewart, who heads the group with CEO and co-founder Tom Sheridan, says "the principle of doing the right thing is as powerful today as it was at the outset". "It is a privilege to look after people's money, not a right," he says. "Characteristics like not charging commission and bringing institutional structures to the retail market are now relatively common but we were introducing these things long before because we have always put the client first....
