With MSCI's decision to increase the weighting and breadth of China A-shares in a range of its indices coming into effect this month, Darius McDermott highlights three funds offering exposure to Chinese equities

The outlook for China has become more positive in recent weeks, as a truce on trade negotiations with the US (for now), as well as authorities introducing both monetary and fiscal measures to tackle the slowing economy, have given cause for some optimism. Indeed, the International Monetary Fund cited Beijing's efforts and the improving trade outlook when it recently nudged its forecast for growth in China this year from 6.2% up to 6.3%.  This growth rate may be the envy of the developed world, but it is also the lowest rate recorded by the world's second biggest economy in 28 years.
