Carlton Hood has joined the Telegraph as managing director of its financial services business and will be responsible for "strengthening" the brand's financial products and market services.
The ex-Confused.com chief executive joins from Old Mutual Wealth where he was customer director for two years, as well as group customer director for a year. He has also provided financial consultancy to the likes of Virgin Media and John Lewis. The Telegraph said its efforts to bolster its financial services business is part of an "ongoing commitment to lead change within the UK media industry".
