AWD appoints Cofunds as mass-affluent platform provider

National IFA AWD Chase de Vere has appointed Cofunds as the main platform provider for its mass-affluent client segment.

The firm is still undecided on the platform strategy for its other offerings, though its ‘Enhanced' segment makes up the majority of its clients. Director of advisory services Andy Papadopoulos said: "We want to ensure that the platform providers we select are equipped to meet the challenges of the post-RDR world, are committed to the ongoing development of their proposition and have the size and strength so we can be confident they will still be around in the years to come.
