Concerns about advisers piling into commission-paying products ahead of the Retail Distribution Review (RDR) have proven unfounded, according to the experience of one provider.
Barclays said its commission-free product range has proven more popular with advisers than alternatives that do offer commission. The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has previously stated it is concerned some advisers may look to recommend commission-paying products before RDR is implemented at the end of the year.
