Clients who get holistic financial advice are generally happier and more satisfied with the service compared to other methods, Standard Life has found.

Its Retirement Voice report, which was conducted among 6,350 UK adults from July to August 2023, explored the differences in client satisfaction when receiving transactional advice, wealth management or holistic advice. It found that while most clients who took advice were pleased with the results, those who engaged holistic advice were generally more satisfied across the board. Those clients were the most likely to say that, because of their adviser's services they had made better financial decisions (77%).
